The series follows Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl) as the sinister stalker Joe Goldberg and the women he becomes infatuated with, who often end up meeting a dark fate.
As a mammoth hit for the streaming service, it was little surprise when the series was renewed for a third season earlier this year, but filming was halted in March as COVID-19 began spreading across the Western world.

But mostly, fans will be keen to know what the future has in store for Joe and his new rival Love, played by Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Bly Manor), who was revealed to have murderous secrets of her own.
Caroline Kepnes, who writes the books on which You is based, recently announced that she had finished the third book in the series, so hopefully, that will provide some hints for what we can expect in the upcoming season.

An official return date hasn’t been announced just yet, but Netflix did say that You season 3 will arrive at some point in 2021, with filming kicking off in February.
However, You Know What is causing chaos for TV and movie productions across the board, so we could be looking at the very end of the year, and even beyond that if things don’t improve.
But what is definitely happening is the release of the third book in the series, ‘You Love Me’, which will hit shelves on April 6, 2021.
